Fifteen years across apps, websites and software — the last few leading small teams inside big organisations. Right now I'm Head of Design at Flawless, where three of us built visual dubbing tools that professional editors trust with feature films.
Before that: BP's innovation department (air quality for the UK government, a household carbon calculator, pipeline sensor safety), M&S Food (a supplier portal built with the suppliers themselves), and a long run of product work at Toyota, PureGym, Sage, Bookatable and Premier Inn.
I studied music, then psychology. Both turn out to be useful: one taught me structure, the other taught me to shut up and listen in a research session.
